Recreation
Our local Recreation departments
are dedicated to providing a healthy community through
people, parks and programs. They strive to enhance family
and neighborhood interactions, decrease juvenile crime,
promote health and wellness, and positively impact the
local economy.
The East Bay Regional Park District maintains the Round
Valley Preserve, which is open to the public and is used
for recreational activities such as, bicycle riding, horseback
riding, hiking, viewing of plants and animal life or geological
